Circuit training is a collection of exercises performed consecutively, with no rest between exercises. You can rest between exercises if you need to but, ideally, there is no rest. When you finish the last exercise, you take a little rest (around 1 minute) and then start over again. When I started my own fitness journey, 26 years ago, I started with circuit training.
